RMA 4.5.2023 - Emergency Construction Services RMA 4.5.2023

The County of Tulare is seeking Emergency Construction Services to assist the County with the repair of the
Road 248 Bridge (northern structure) and Culvert (southern structure) over Deer Creek located approximately 5
miles south of the City of Porterville. The work to be done consists, in general, of reconstructing the bridge
approach roadway on the north and south ends of the bridge and all damaged areas along Road 248 between the
north and south structures, reinforcing the channel with rock slope protection to prevent future
channel/embankment/abutment erosion and sealing up all eroded areas that may have developed around or
underneath the bridge abutments/piles and wingwalls.
