The County of Tulare (County) invites proposals for offer of a contract to be submitted to the Purchasing Agent to supply Grounds Maintenance Services at various County locations for General Service Agency.
The County of Tulare is soliciting proposals from Grounds Maintenance Companies for Grounds Maintenance Services throughout Tulare County. Please see “Scope of Services” for specific grounds locations and sites, below. Grounds Maintenance Company is not responsible for replacing sprinklers, trees, shrubs, grasses, etc. unless requested to do so.
The responsibility of the Contractor is to maintain the appearance of the County’s outdoor areas by keeping lawns manicured, pruning trees, pruning bushes, trimming hedges, and pathways clean from debris and litter, year-round. Please consider, many sites differ from one another, and some will require more yard maintenance than others. For example, some sites might be landscaped with many trees, or open lawns and grasses, and will need to be maintained accordingly. Other sites were designed using drought-tolerant landscaping and may not need as much water, etc. As the seasons change, so will the maintenance required for each site throughout the County. Please make sure to visit each location as each site is unique and has different maintenance needs. Please see Exhibit F for a complete list of grounds locations and sites.
