Description

In general, the project consists of providing all labor, materials, tools, transportation, insurance, and services necessary for asbestos abatement of the existing roof, including the mansard roof, and demolition and removal of the existing HVAC system. Procurement and installation of a PVC roofing system and new air conditioning units, including device controllers, hardware, programming of the system, and testing of the completed system to verify proper operation of the new system. The new roofing system includes roof insulation and roof tapered insulation. The project shall also include all construction and installation of incidental plumbing, sheet metal, electrical, and roofing work and installation of equipment mounting curb work as shown in the plans and as described in the technical specifications and as necessary to provide a complete, operable HVAC system to the building, located at 1880 Shasta Street, Redding, CA 96001. The work shall not begin on site until after April 1, 2025.

The pre-bid conference is not mandatory. However, the bidder is required to sign that they have familiarized themselves with the local conditions including, but not limited to inspecting in and around the work areas, operating hours of the building, access to areas of the building, and building security requirements.
