Please see the official Notice of Inviting Bids on our Bid Opportunities webpage. The Project generally consists of installation and testing of a cathodic protection system for each of the tanks specified, to include galvanic anodes, junction boxes and other components associated with the cathodic protection system. Work on the Project shall be completed within 120 calendar days.

Sweetwater Authority (“Authority”) will receive sealed Bids for the Cathodic Protection Of Sweetwater Authority Reservoirs: Bonita Highlands #1, Bonita Highlands #2, And McMillin (“Project”) at the office of the Authority’s Engineering Department, located at 505 Garrett Avenue, Chula Vista, CA 91910, no later than Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 3:30 P.M. Bids received after this time will be returned unopened. The Bid Opening will take place in the Assembly Room at the Richard A. Reynolds Desalination Facility located at 3066 N. Second Avenue, Chula Vista, CA 91910, on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 4:00 P.M., at which time or soon thereafter said Bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids shall be valid for sixty (60) Calendar Days after the Bid opening date.
