The work to be done, in general, consists of roadway repairs, including: cold planning of asphalt roadway; placement of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) materials; removal and replacement of concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk, curb ramps, and valley gutters; pruning and removal of tree roots; lowering and adjusting utility covers to finish grade; removal and replacement of traffic striping and pavement markings; shoulder backing installation; loop detector replacement; and related items of work as shown on the plans, as specified in the Standard Specifications and these special provisions, and as directed by the Engineer.
