Summary of Specifications:
Adams County is requesting proposals including cost of services from Professional Engineering Consultants for the design, construction specifications, construction documents, construction quantities estimate, and all necessary services as specified in this Request for Proposals for roadway improvements on York Street from East 78th Avenue to Highway 224. Professional Land Surveying services will be required to support the project with a topographic/design survey and right-of-way/easement acquisition plans. The roadway improvements shall consist of the following: 1. New lane addition(s) on York Street along with curb, gutter, and sidewalk from East 78th Avenue to Highway 224, 2. Storm sewer infrastructure to support captured stormwater in updated street section and storm sewer laterals currently draining into the County right-of-way (R.O.W.), 3. Collaboratively adjusting irrigation ditch location with the irrigation lateral owner(s). The scope of services shall also include a drainage study, geotechnical study, environmental study and traffic study. The traffic study shall examine traffic circulation, and intersection design on York Street. In addition, services will include right-of-way identification, easement identification, and legal descriptions and exhibits of all parcels that need to be acquired to construct the project.
