IFB-2014-376 - 2014-376 THREE BRIDGE REPLACEMENTS

Summary of Specifications:
Adams County is requesting bids to replace three existing bridges: MNR06N-145.019 at Colorado Blvd. over the Signal Ditch, MNR136-12.1098 at 136th Avenue over the Fulton Ditch, and MNR144-12.7083 at East 144th Avenue over the Fulton Ditch. The proposed culvert replacements will be, respectfully, a 12-foot (span) by 6-foot (rise), an 18-foot (span) by 9-foot (rise), and an 18-foot (span) by 8-foot (rise) reinforced box culvert. Adams County has coordinated the purchase and delivery of the precast box culverts to the sites no later than December 12, 2014. The pre-cast box culverts will be built per Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) Standard Plans M & S Standards. The Contractor shall be responsible for unloading the precast box delivered by the Precast Manufacturer and install per M-603-3 and section 603 of specifications. It shall neither be measured nor paid separately. Contractor shall install the pre-cast box culverts, construct headwalls, wingwalls, cutoff walls, riprap, soil retention blanket, guardrails, asphalt, and roadway striping.
