Summary of Specifications:
Adams County offers a comprehensive benefits package at reasonable rates to all benefited employees and their families, which includes health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage, and long-term disability coverage. Knowing that health and wellness programs are important to employees, the County provides a comprehensive wellness program, which includes an employee assistance program, flu shots, an annual health fair, wellness incentives, and many other opportunities to promote a health-conscious environment.
The County is considering the addition of an on-site/near site Wellness Clinic(s) in order to enhance the current benefits package. We are looking to create 1-2 onsite and/or near site clinic(s) to support our UHC population and integrate with our County Wellness Program. Additionally, County Management is gravely concerned about escalating healthcare costs, and is anxious to explore alternatives which will positively impact the County’s healthcare trend, while providing employees new and cost-effective options to address their healthcare needs
