Summary of Specifications:
The State of Colorado, Department of Higher Education, acting by and through the Board of Trustees of Adams State University for the use and benefit of Adams State University, is soliciting the submittal of proposals from Construction Management/General Contracting (CM/CG) firms to provide construction services for ASU Project 2015-006P14, East Campus Building Renovations.
The project proposes renovations to the East Campus Building of Adams State University to accommodate a growing undergraduate and graduate student population in a number of academic programs. The project proposes to renovate the 1954 building to accommodate growth in various academic programs. The project proposes additional renovation in the building to meet current accessibility and life-safety codes and to provide a greater building usage by the University in various academic fields. These renovations include but are not limited to the addition of an elevator to the second floor, complete fire sprinkler system, overall HVAC system replacement, new windows, electrical system upgrades, and classroom technology improvements. The total foot print of the project area is 34,000 square feet. The time line for construction will begin May 1st and completion of this renovation will be the end of December 2016.
