Apex Park and Recreation District is seeking proposals from qualified contractors make needed repairs to the Apex Center Aquatics Pump Room and Lifeguard Room
1. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals as shown,
specified, and required to repair existing concrete members and surfaces shown herein.
2. Pilaster concrete repairs shall include chipping out existing concrete to expose the
reinforcement per the typical repair detail requirements and the cleaning of exposed
reinforcement and application of corrosion inhibiting primer prior to patching back the
concrete area.Contractor shall provide enclosure and dust control measures and shall protect
the pump room equipment from dust and debris.
3. All contract-related waste generated during construction shall be stored and disposed of
in accordance with Owner’s requirements, EPA, and all local, State, and Federal laws and
requirements.
4. All OSHA construction standards shall be followed.
5. The Contractor shall take all precautions and implement all measures necessary to avert
potential hazards associated with the materials as described on the pertinent Material
Safety Data Sheets or container labels.
6. Products used in concrete repairs shall be the product of a single manufacturer.
7. Material Storage and mix areas shall be designated by the Owner.
