Description

The Work generally consists of Construction of a single lane roundabout on S Tempe St to address concerns with the tight turn between E Pennwood Ave and E Progress Ave. The location of the roundabout will require the Construction of new sidewalk connections and curb ramps. The roundabout will require new signing striping as well as the implementation of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons at the new crossing locations. Utility relocations and modifications will need to be coordinated as part of the Work. The Project is identified as a federally funded project. Single lane northbound traffic shall remain open for the duration of Construction. Southbound lanes may be closed for the duration of traffic.
