The Arapahoe County Open Spaces Department is collaborating with Denver Water and the High Line Canal Conservancy to transfer ownership of portions of the High Line Canal from Denver Water to Arapahoe County in the spring of 2024. Arapahoe County Open Spaces is seeking to hire a consultant to assist Department staff in developing a project plan to be used by Arapahoe County and its internal departments to guide the two-year transition period leading up to the full ownership and management of the Highline Canal property in late 2026.
