Summary of Specifications:
PURPOSE: TO ESTABLISH A CONTRACT FOR SERVICES: The purpose of this request for a proposal is to select a consultant to design and update the State and Local Emergency Preparedness Plan as specified herein and for the consultant that will provide prompt and efficient service to the County and the Colorado North Central Region Board of Directors.
ARAPAHOE COUNTY AS AN AGENT: Arapahoe County is acting as an agent for the Colorado North Central Board of Directors; any and all references to “the County” is superceded by “the County and the Colorado North Central Region Board of Directors” within in this total and complete document.
COLORADO NORTH CENTRAL REGION: The Colorado North Central Region is assigned by Colorado Department of Public Safety, Office of Preparedness, Security, and Fire Safety to address a variety of planning issues specific to Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) and Terrorism Preparedness. Grants funds were made available to the “North Central” Region, which is made up of the counties of Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Clear Creek, Denver, Douglas, Elbert, Gilpin, and Jefferson
