RFP-BJ-1212 - Sheridan Public Library RFP

Summary of Specifications:
The Arapahoe Library District (the ‘Owner’) are in the process of developing a site to house the new Sheridan Public Library. It is the goal to design and construct a one story facility which will be approximately 10,000-12,000 sf in size on the approximate one acre site. 

It is important to note there is a long history on this site and currently the property resides within the city and county of Denver. Although this will be the Sheridan library it has been deemed by the Arapahoe Library District and Wember that a de-annexation process will not be required or pursued. As the project is within the City and County of Denver the project will proceed with Denver Processes and permitting requirements. It is the intent of the client to proceed with a Design-Build agreement but is only soliciting for the General Contractor services at this time. Once complete the General Contractor will assist in the selection of the architect and engineers required to successfully complete the project. The General Contractor will work with the Owner and Owner’s Representative to outline design parameters and discuss ways to determine the best approach for this project. It is the intent of the Owner to have a single Design-Build contract completed after the team has been established through qualification and fee proposals have been submitted and reviewed.
