The Auraria Higher Education Center (AHEC) seeks firms to provide environmental monitoring, testing, and project design on an as needed basis, to their Operations Division. The Operations Division provides the services necessary to manage asbestos containing materials (ACM) and lead, mold, and other environmental hazards within AHEC facilities and on campus grounds. These services ensure that environmental hazards are managed in compliance with all regulatory requirements and protect the health and wellbeing of Faculty, Staff, Students and Visitors. AHEC reserves the right to perform selections of consultants as needed when it better supports the ongoing operation and educational mission of the campus.
AHEC intends to issue up to five (5) Master Task Order Consultant Agreements (Agreements). The initial term of the Agreements resulting from this solicitation shall be for a period of two (2) years. If AHEC requires the same services after that time, the Agreements may be extended for up to three (3) additional years in one-year increments for a total term not to exceed five (5) years (see Exhibit A – Sample Master Task Order Consultant Agreement). The hourly wage rates submitted by selected firms for the resulting Agreements shall be subject to re-negotiation prior to renewal of the Agreement.
The extent of services, if any, to be provided under the resulting Agreements by firms is not assured and is dependent upon the needs of AHEC, and the Campus Institutions, which will utilize said services, to which Consultant has no objection, per the scope and fee described and agreed upon in any subsequent Task Order Authorizations. Once selected for a project, firms will be required to provide a project-specific proposal, including schedule, and related fee (itemized as necessary). Project-specific proposals will be reviewed and approved via a Task Order Authorization. Note: the total, not-to-exceed amount for all projects for each fiscal year shall not exceed a total of $150,000.00 (per Consultant).
