ANFY2025-2026 - As Needed Architect and Engineering Firms - Multi-Year Agreement

The Auraria Higher Education Center (AHEC) seeks up to three (3) firms to provide architectural services, up to three (3) firms to provide MEP engineering services, and up to three (3) firms to provide structural/civil engineering services for tenant improvement renovations, space modifications, and work on parking lots and parking garages for the Auraria Campus for fiscal year (FY) 25 & FY26 (July 2024-June 2026). The projects are not currently defined, but are anticipated to range from minor space modifications to full space renovations for all buildings on campus. Some projects may require significant design services from firms while others will be more architectural in nature. The projects are anticipated to range from $1,000 to $500,000 in construction costs. AHEC reserves the right to perform project specific selections of design teams as needed when it better supports the ongoing operation and educational mission of the campus. The successful firms will work with AHEC's Director of Project Management through the designated AHEC Project Manager for each project.

AHEC intends to issue up to nine (9) (3 for each discipline) Master Task Order Architect/Engineer Agreements (Agreements). The initial term of the Agreements resulting from this solicitation shall be for a period of two (2) years.  If AHEC requires the same services after that time, the Agreements may be extended for up to three (3) additional years in one-year increments for a total term not to exceed five (5) years (see Appendix A – Master Task Order Architect/Engineer Agreement).  The hourly wage rates submitted by selected firms for the resulting Agreements shall be subject to re-negotiation prior to renewal of the Agreement.
