Description

The Big Thompson Watershed Coalition will receive proposals for the federally-funded Colorado Department of Local Affairs Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Ditch Improvement Program. The Big Thompson Watershed Coalition has been awarded a grant from the CDBG-DR Ditch Improvement Program for repair and improvements to the Rist-Goss Ditch and associated infrastructure. This grant is intended to replace the current ditch infrastructure, due to damage resulting from the 2013 flood, and to incorporate resilient features. The selected consultant team will be expected to work closely with the design teams for the Rossum-Wilson river restoration and Namaqua Bridge replacement projects to ensure cohesive design.

A pre-proposal meeting will be held on November 15th, 2017 at noon at the CDOT Residency Building, 2207 Highway 402, Loveland, CO, 80537, immediately followed by a site visit. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss this Request for Proposal (RFP) and to provide assistance to consultants in the interpretation of this RFP or any terms and conditions herein. Attendees should be prepared to drive to the project site and to be outdoors and walk a short distance in weather typical for this time of year. All bidders must attend the pre-proposal meeting and site visit.

This includes one hard-copy format (hand-delivered or mailed) and one electronic copy in PDF format (emailed, via Rocky Mountain eBids, or on a USB drive delivered to the given address). Proposals received after this date and time may not be considered for award.

The response to this RFP is limited to a maximum of 12 double-sided pages, excluding front and back covers and the cover letter, using no smaller than 11-point font and no less than 0.5” margins. Each response should be complete yet concise and contain only the elements shown below. Please avoid submittal of extraneous and unnecessary information.
