This project consists of removing the existing temporary road and culvert repairs and replacing the temporary corrugated metal culvert with a concrete box culvert. The project will replace the temporary work to pre-disaster footprint and functionality, and will bring the culvert up to current Boulder County standards. The proposed permanent action includes the removal of the currently-existing damaged culvert, installation of a single box culvert, including wing-walls, and appropriate grading and seeding. The project will not result in any vertical or horizontal alignment changes.
Specifications and a sample contract with FHWA requirements are attached. The successful proposer shall execute the attached requirements as part of any contract with the county, and comply with all FHWA requirements set forth therein.

Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting
A Mandatory Pre-bid meeting will be held January 18th from 2:00-3:00 pm in the Large Conference Room at the Transportation Department, 2525 13th Street, Boulder, CO 80304.
Bids from firms not represented at the mandatory, pre-bid meeting will not be accepted.
