ITB-James013 - Andersen Hill Bridge and Walls

Summary of Specifications:
Time is of the essence for the construction of the Town of Jamestown’s (Town) Andersen Hill Bridge and Walls that were destroyed during the September 2013 flood. The Town is pursuing the reconstruction of these critical components to restore the Andersen Hill access point to the residences on the south side of James creek. 

The Town of Jamestown is seeking bids from qualified contractors with demonstrated experience in bridge, wall and road construction. By means of this Invitation to Bid (ITB), the Town is seeking a contractor to construct the replacement Andersen Hill Bridge and Walls (FEMA Category C permanent repairs). Through an intergovernmental agreement, Jamestown is working with Boulder County on this bid process. 

The Contractor should be prepared to operate in a collaborative, partnership manner and to have the community be part of the construction process. Community outreach, public participation and regular coordination meetings shall be considered part of the project process. 

Specifications and a sample contract with a FEMA specific addendum are attached. The successful proposer shall execute the attached addendum as part of any contract with the Town of Jamestown, and comply with all FEMA requirements set forth in that addendum.
