The Boulder County Parks & Open Space Department is seeking proposals from qualified electrical contractors who can provide quality, timely, and responsive electrical services to approximately thirty (30) Boulder County Parks & Open Space owned and leased rental houses, as well as historical/agricultural structures, and other County owned buildings on an as needed and assigned basis. The selected Contractor(s) will be responsible for providing residential and/or commercial electrical services, such as, installation of electrical systems including new service, maintenance and repair of existing systems, bringing electrical systems up to code, electrical inspections and testing, troubleshooting and locating faults, rewiring, and fitting circuit breakers and fuse boxes, which must be completed in a timely, cost effective and quality workmanship manner. The selected Contractor(s) must possess appropriate licenses and work performed must follow all State and Local building and Boulder County Community Planning & Permitting Department codes. Many of the locations are in different city limits and may require licenses for that city as well. The selected Contractor(s) will be responsible for obtaining any permits related to work performed on the houses or buildings where a permit is required by Boulder County Community Planning & Permitting Department. The selected Contractor(s) will be expected to adhere to all Parks & Open Space Rules & Regulations while on County Open Space properties (see Attachment B). The selected Contractor(s) will be required to travel throughout Boulder County to perform these tasks on an as needed assigned basis, which may include mountain locations (see Attachment A). The County’s Rental House Coordinator will be the main point of contact for all work requested and related tasks for any work assigned.
