Summary of Specifications:
The Boulder County Parks and Open Space Department is seeking proposals for qualified, certified, and/or licensed Water Quality Testing Specialists. Specialists must be able to ensure compliance with all Local, State, and EPA Water System Regulations. In addition to Water Quality Testing Services, the selected Contractor may also be required to provide maintenance for existing water and wastewater systems. The purpose of this solicitation is to have a qualified, certified, and/or licensed water quality contractor collect and test water samples from the Goodhue Farmhouse Meeting Facility, approximately twenty-seven (27) County owned rental houses managed by the Parks and Open Space Department, the Argo Mine Facility, and the Cardinal Mill site (see Attachment A for all property locations). The selected contractor will send water samples to a certified lab for analysis. A monthly (depending on site classification) report will be sent to the Parks and Open Space Department. The selected contractor shall immediately notify Boulder County Parks and Open Space Department of any concerns or safety issues that may arise from any water test results. Contractors shall be certified and/or licensed and understand and adhere to all Local, State, and EPA Water Quality Testing Regulations. The selected contractor(s) will be required to enter into a Continuing Services Contract, for the current year with an option to renew, in writing, for four additional years. The Contractor acknowledges that a Contract does not constitute a guarantee that Contractor will receive any Projects or Work of any kind under this Contract, if selected, and in such event, Contractor would not receive any payment from County. A pre-bid meeting will not be held for this proposal.
