ITB-6342-15 - Brainard Lake Road R.O.W. Tree Removal

Summary of Specifications:
Boulder County Transportation Department is soliciting quotes for forestry R.O.W. clearance work along Brainard Lake Road to accommodate a water line reconstruction for the Town of Ward and a future road reconstruction project in fall 2016. This project involves two distinct components. The first is mechanical removal and processing of all trees at four locations along the road for a total of 2.25 acres of high density mixed-conifer/aspen forest. The second component is the transportation of all harvested materials, in log-length form, to the specified designated Transfer Site at the Town of Ward ball fields. The project area consists of five sites which are identified on Attachment A: Project Area and consist of three clearing areas, a staging area and the Transfer Sites. 

The successful bidder will be required to complete a Contract for Services. The Brainard Lake Tree Removal Project is part of a larger federally-funded Road Project. As such, all requirements of the Davis/Bacon Wage Rate Act apply.
