Summary of Specifications:
Boulder County is requesting Field Oversight position proposals from Engineering and Construction Management Consultants (hereinafter, “Consultant” or “Consultants”) to provide a wide variety of in-field oversight and construction management duties for the Boulder County Buyout Demolition Program. The purpose of the overseer position is to ensure that contractor activities are completed according to plan, schedule, and in compliance with permitting specifications. This RFP will be used to hire a single firm to provide on-call in-field oversight services. Consultant services will include oversight and documentation of all in-field activities associated with the Boulder County Buyout Program. A full list of activities to occur on Buyout properties include: construction of temporary stream crossings, traffic control, structure demolition, asbestos and other hazardous materials abatement, well and septic system decommissioning, site grading, installation of erosion control measures, seeding, and other site reclamation activities. The awarded firm resulting from this RFP will enter into a continuing services contract with the County. Proposers are encouraged to submit to this RFP, and its CDBG-DR counterpart, RFP # 6500-16.
