Summary of Specifications:
The Town of Jamestown (Town) applied for, and received, a FEMA Hazard Mitigation Program Grant (HMGP) through the State of Colorado Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM) to purchase and demolish real property severely impacted by the September 2013 Flooding and Severe Weather Event. Property owners have voluntarily agreed to sell their flood- or landslide-damaged properties for the purpose of removing all improvements and maintaining the property in public ownership. The primary purpose of the HMGP grant is to eliminate, or greatly reduce, the probability of damage during future flood events. This project is also partially funded by HUD Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds.
As of the date this Invitation to Bid (ITB) was posted, there are six properties that the Town has purchased under the HMGP program, including:

The Town of Jamestown is seeking Bids from qualified contractors with demonstrated experience in demolition, grading, and erosion control. By means of this Invitation to Bid (ITB), the Town is seeking a contractor to demolish all improvements and remove demolition debris from all six properties purchased under this hazard mitigation grant. In addition, the Town seeks to have each property re-graded and erosion control measures applied.
