Summary of Specifications:
Boulder County Parks and Open Space (BCPOS) is accepting proposals from qualified and experienced firms to secure engineering services for the rehabilitation of the West Lake and A-Frame Lake reservoirs (Project). These services are needed to repair damage that occurred to these reservoirs and to remove sediments deposited in the reservoirs by the Flood of September, 2013. This repair shall be in compliance with the State of Colorado, Department of Natural Resources, Division of Water Resources, Office of the State Engineer, Dam Safety Branch (SEO) “Rules and Regulations for Dam Safety and Dam Construction“ and other applicable standards. Funding for the Project is expected to occur from a combination of FEMA Public Assistance (PA) and related public funds, and funds from the County. The selected engineering firm will have ninety (90) calendar days to complete evaluation and preliminary design of the rehabilitation from the date of execution of the contract. The second phase of the Project, which will be immediately following the first phase of the Project, will be to prepare a final design, and construction documents. The third phase will be to provide engineering services during the construction Project.
