Summary of Specifications:
The Boulder County Parks and Open Space (BCPOS), Real Estate Division, is seeking qualifications from firms in the following disciplines: Environmental Site Assessment, including Soil Sampling and Water Sampling. The work will consist of performing Phase I and Phase II Environmental Assessments of proposed and existing County properties.
The purpose of this solicitation is to prepare a pre-qualified list of Phase I and Phase II Firms to work on a project-by-project basis. The County retains the right to select more than one contractor. All pre-qualified vendors will be required to enter into a Continuing Services Contract, beginning January 1, 2014, for the current year with an option to renew, in writing, for four (4) additional one year terms. The vendor acknowledges that a Contract does not constitute a guarantee that vendor will receive any Projects or Work of any kind under this Contract, if selected, and in such event, vendor would not receive any payment from County. Vendors must be qualified to perform Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments in conformance with ASTM standards and the Boulder County Parks and Open Space Specifications listed below. Vendors must also be qualified to perform soil and water sampling and analyze the results. Insurance requirements are addressed in the attached Sample Contract. All insurance requirements must be received and approved, by the County, prior to work commencing.
