RFP-6287-15 - FLOOD - Highland Diversion ByPass Design and Construction Services

Summary of Specifications:
The Boulder County Parks and Open Space Department (BCPOS) is accepting proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to secure engineered design plans and construction services for rebuilding a low flow bypass structure on the Highland Ditch Company Diversion in Lyons, CO. The structure was destroyed by flood waters from St. Vrain Creek during the September 2013 flood. The Project site is located at 4180 US Highway 36, Longmont, CO 80503; N40.21543 and W-105.25916. 

The selected contractor will comply with all Urban Drainage and Flood Control District specifications and any applicable conditions required by the US Army Corps of Engineers while performing any activities. The scheduled completion dated for the engineered design plans is Wednesday, September 30, 2015. The Construction Phase is anticipated to begin Monday November 2, 2015. The selected contractor will complete all construction aspects of the Project on or before Friday, December 18, 2015.
