Summary of Specifications:
Notice is hereby given that Boulder County Building Services will accept sealed bids for the JC Hazardous Material Abatement, located at 1777 6th Street, Boulder, CO 80302.
1. The Work consists of all permits (any taxes associated to the permits), labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, and incidental items as required for a complete job for the following items per project plans and specifications: a. Shooting Range – Lead contaminated spray on sound attenuation material b. Basement Elevator Lobby – Asbestos containing VCT abatement. c. Worked in both area to be completed per Colorado Department of Health and Environment d. Lead containing material abatement shall comply with all the requirements of Section III. (Training and Certification Requirements) and Section V. (Abatement Requirements) of Regulation No. 19, Part A, e. Asbestos containing materials to be abated per Regulation 8 Part B Asbestos.
2. Project Documents: a. Justice Center basement plan dated 11/26/2013. b. JC Shooting Lead & Asbestos Tests – Attached. c. Sample Contract and General Conditions – Attached.
3. Work provided by others: a. Temporary power and toilet facilities provided by Boulder County. b. Any electrical work required to be performed by Boulder County.
