Summary of Specifications:
The Town of Jamestown’s (Town) Town Square is the center of activity in Jamestown, serving as a both a park and a flood debris containment area. Town Square was completely destroyed during the September 2013 flood and is being reconstructed to its pre-flood function under this ITB. The reconstruction of this permanent structure is a Category G FEMA reconstruction project. The Town of Jamestown is seeking bids from qualified contractors with demonstrated experience in heavy earthwork construction. By means of this Invitation to Bid (ITB), the Town is seeking a contractor to construct the Jamestown Town Square (FEMA Category G permanent repairs). Through an intergovernmental agreement, Jamestown is working with Boulder County on this bid process to procure the services of a qualified contractor. The Contractor should be prepared to operate in a collaborative, partnership manner. Community involvement, public participation and regular coordination meetings shall be considered part of the project process. A sample Town contract with a FEMA specific addendum is attached. The successful proposer shall execute the attached addendum as part of any contract with the Town of Jamestown, comply with all FEMA requirements set forth in that addendum, and provide proof of SAM registration.
