Boulder County Building Services (“BCBS” and/or “Owner”), a Division of the Public Works Department, is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to install concrete and asphalt site paving and concrete drainage systems at the Nederland Waste Transfer Station located at 286 Ridge Rd, Nederland, CO. The site is being modified to improve ADA access to recycle drop-off areas and to facilitate water drainage across the entire location. This work is targeted for second quarter of 2024.

Civil Specifications
The attached drawings and specifications and related information represent the overall intentions of BCBS and the Design Team. They are intended to convey the size and scope of the project.
Bids should include, but are not limited to: All concrete paving, pans curbs and walls. All forming, reinforcing, finishing, and tooling. Fine grading. Grading to +- 1/10’ is by others. Asphalt paving. Demolition of existing is by others.
Boulder County will temporarily relocate the waste transfer operations while the project is completed. This relocation presents a hardship to the operators of the transfer facility as well as the community, so time is of the essence in completing the project.
