Summary of Specifications:
The Boulder County Hazardous Materials Management Waste (HMM) Program is looking for contractors to on an as-needed basis to provide, collect, and transport low profile watertight 20-cubic-yard roll-off containers for the storage of non-hazardous liquid waste collected at the County’s HMM facility located at 1901 63rd Street, Boulder. The size of the roll-off boxes delivered to the Boulder County HMM facility will not exceed 20 cubic yards. The County anticipates that the majority of the waste will be shipped in 20-cubic yard roll-off boxes, though the contractor should be able to accept waste in cubic-yard boxes, 55-gallon drums, or other approved containers at the County’s request.
For the purpose of this RFP, non-hazardous liquid waste is defined as any material not subject to regulation as a hazardous waste per 40CFR261.1(a). Historically, the County has restricted the materials placed in a non-hazardous liquid waste roll-off, drum, cubic yard box, etc. as water-based paints and stains, and pH-neutral, non-reactive cleaners.
