Summary of Specifications:
Boulder County Parks & Open Space (BCPOS) is soliciting contractors for Tree Maintenance services, including, but not limited to, tree pruning, tree removal, and herbicide spraying on open space lands. The information will provide the County with current contact information for contractors who are interested in bidding on arboriculture work. Bids will be solicited on a project-by-project basis, not to exceed the total combined sum of $30,000 per calendar year. Specifications and a sample contract are attached. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a Contract for Services. The County retains the right to select more than one contractor. The selected contractor(s) will be required to enter into a Continuing Services Contract, for the current year with an option to renew, in writing, for four additional years. The Contractor acknowledges that a Contract does not constitute a guarantee that Contractor will receive any Projects or Work of any kind under this Contract, if selected, and in such event, the Contractor would not receive any payment from County.
