RFP-6292-15 - Radon Reduction Guidance Documents

Summary of Specifications:
This project is a component of a larger effort to reduce radon exposure and its associated risk of lung cancer. The Public Health Regional Radon Roadmap (PHR3) brings together five local public health agencies (LPHA), encompassing 7 counties representing 55% of the population in Colorado. PHR3 shall develop model policies for real estate transactions and local and regional building codes to promote adoption and implementation of consistent, systematic, evidence-based methods to reduce radon exposure. The PHR3 shall guide, support, and encourage stakeholders and local policy makers to adopt local and regional policies and systems changes that lead to widespread and more consistent use of best practices in radon mitigation in the Colorado homebuilding industry.
