RFP-6522-16 - Recycling, Composting and Waste Collection and Disposal

The Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA) is seeking proposals from qualified and licensed vendors for the collection and disposal of residential and commercial waste, recyclables and compostables at 12 locations throughout Boulder County. Service locations are listed in Attachment B. Any responding Contractor does not have to respond to all properties listed and may bid on specific properties as desired. Contractors may also respond to specific services (e.g. waste, recycling, and/or composting).

 The purpose of this solicitation is to award contracts to one or more contractors who can offer the required services as needed. A contract will be awarded for the period of one year, with the option to renew for four additional one-year periods, for a total of five years.

 Specifications and a sample contract are attached.

 Mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting/Walk-Through
A mandatory pre-proposal meeting/walk-through will be held on Wednesday, September 21 at 1:00 PM, at Aspinwall, 771 Excelsior Place, Lafayette CO 80026. Details will be provided upon arrival, and is estimated to take approximately 2 hours. Proposals from firms not represented at the mandatory, pre-proposal meeting will not be accepted.

 All inquiries regarding this RFP shall be submitted via e-mail to the Boulder County Purchasing Office at purchasing@bouldercounty.org on or before 4:00 p.m. September 23, 2016.  A response from the County to all inquiries shall be posted and sent via email no later than September 27, 2016.
