Summary of Specifications:
The Town of Jamestown (OWNER, Town) is requesting bids from qualified firms for work related to improvements on the water distribution system. Bids shall include 1) a breakdown of unit prices and quantities for anticipated labor, materials and equipment rates and 2) a Project Total price, and 3) a schedule for completing the work. All work shall be performed in accordance with federal, state and local rules and regulations. Section 3 requirements will be part of this contract as funding for this project is through HUD, a Federal agency. Boulder County, through an intergovernmental agency agreement (IGA), is acting administratively on behalf of the Town of Jamestown, and providing technical support and expertise as requested by the Town of Jamestown for this project. The Jamestown Town Board, in conjunction with the Town’s Water Engineer, Town Staff, and RG and Associates will be reviewing the submitted responses to this Invitation to Bid (ITB) and awarding to the responsible proposer whose submittal, conforming to the ITB, will be most advantageous to the Town of Jamestown, price and other factors considered.
