Summary of Specifications:
The Boulder County Parks and Open Space (BCPOS), Real Estate Division, is seeking qualifications from qualified certified general appraisers in the following disciplines: rural land appraising, including conservation easement appraisals, often with water rights.
The purpose of this solicitation is to prepare a pre-qualified list of Rural Land Appraisal Firms to work on a project-by-project basis. The County retains the right to select more than one contractor. All pre-qualified vendors will be required to enter into a Continuing Services Contract, for the current year with an option to renew, in writing, for four (4) additional years. The vendor acknowledges that a Contract does not constitute a guarantee that vendor will receive any Projects or Work of any kind under this Contract, if selected, and in such event, vendor would not receive any payment from County. Vendors must be qualified to perform rural land appraisals, including conservation easement appraisals in conformance with the BCPOS Appraisal Specifications listed below.
Insurance requirements are addressed in the attached Sample Contract. All insurance requirements must be received and approved, by the County, prior to work commencing.
