Summary of Specifications:
The Boulder County Department of Housing and Human Services is seeking proposals from qualified therapists to provide the following specialized therapeutic services: Therapeutic Sexual Abuse Treatment to Victims, Offense Specific Treatment for Sexual Offenders, Domestic Violence Treatment, Substance Abuse Treatment, Therapeutic Visitation, and Specialized work in regards to issues with Attachment upon the referral of the Department. Applicants should be familiar with treating sexual abuse victims and have knowledge of the Sex Offender Management Board (SOMB) standards regarding clarification and reunification. Applicants should be familiar working with victims of adult offenders and sexually abusive youth, intra familial and 3rd party. Boulder County Department of Housing and Human Services prefers Applicants that support the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) concept and that are willing to work as a member of the MDT. Applicants should be familiar with best practices in regards to Substance Abuse treatment for the Spanish Speaking Population. Applicants should be familiar with best practices in regards to Domestic Violence and how it impacts the whole family system. Applicants should be familiar with best practices for Attachment specific work and therapeutic visitation. Proposals submitted should specify the area of specialized treatment.
