RFP 22-02 Pharmacy w Specialty Carve out - 22-02 Pharmacy Benefits Management w Specialty Pharmacy Management Carve-out

The successful vendor(s) will be awarded a contract to provide the services as described in this RFP for a period of three years (subject to annual appropriations as provided in the Contract), with potential option(s) to renew for two (2) additional one year periods (effectively a five year agreement).
Boulder Valley School District RE-2 (District) is seeking proposals from vendors to provide  Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) and Specialty Pharmacy Management carve-out for their employees and dependents effective date 7/1/2022. Additional information is in Section 3.
Vendor Selection Process
Phase 1 - Minimum Qualifications
The first phase will be a prequalification. The District will review submittals and determine the vendors that will be eligible to move to the next phase. Only the prequalified vendors will receive additional information, addendums, formulary descriptions, usage, etc.
Note: A signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) will be required by the District to be an eligible prequalified vendor.

Phase 2 - Consideration of Proposals from Prequalified vendors
Award Scenarios
If your organization meets minimum qualifications, you may submit a bid for one of three scenarios:

1. Comprehensive PBM services with explicit agreement to fully collaborate with specialty pharmacy management and/or fulfillment to be provided by an outside 3rd party determined by BVSD
2. Specialty pharmacy management services including advanced analytics, clinical management, alternative funding or other with explicit agreement to fully collaborate with Core PBM service provider determined by BVSD
3. Both a. and b. if your organization is fully qualified to provide an innovative approach via an integrated offer
