19-002 - Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade Geotechnical and Material Testing Services

Boxelder Sanitation District (District) is requesting proposals from qualified firms (Contractor) to provide geotechnical, construction QA/QC and materials testing services for the above referenced project.  The Contractor will not be performing reinforcing or structural steel inspection (to be performed by the design engineering company’s on-site resident engineer).  The project involves construction of the following main elements:
 

1. 1. 1. . New Process Building consisting of cast-in-place concrete, precast, and concrete masonry unit construction.
      2. . New administration building consisting of cast-in-place concrete, precast, and concrete masonry unit construction.
      3. . Two (2) oxidation ditch treatment basins and anaerobic treatment basins (3) consisting of slab-on-grade and cast-in-place concrete basins.
      4. . Two (2) new 65-ft diameter secondary clarifiers consisting of slab-on-grade and cast-in-place concrete basins.
      5. . New solids handling facility and two (2) aerobic digesters consisting of cast-in-place and precast concrete and concrete masonry unit walls.
      6. . Site earthwork and improvements mainly consisting of, but not limited to, site utilities, miscellaneous civil structures, access roads, final site grading, and yard piping.
