INVITATION TO BID

Bids must be submitted by electronic submission through BidNet® on the Rocky Mountain Bid
System, which can be accessed through the Castle Pines Metro website at:
https://www.bidnetdirect.com/colorado/castlepinesmetropolitandistrict Bids must be submitted by
the date and time designated in the Invitation to Bid and the Ad on BidNet.

The Contract provides for the construction, development and testing of three water wells to be
drilled with reverse circulation mud rotary methods and completed into the Lower Dawson
aquifer (LDa-8 and LDa-14) and the Denver aquifer (De-14), all located within the Castle Pines
Metropolitan District.

Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from BidNet® accessible at
https://www.bidnetdirect.com/colorado/castlepinesmetropolitandistrict . Bidding documents will
be available on February 8, 2021. Sealed bids must be submitted by the deadline of February
22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. All submitted bids will be opened on February 22, 2021. No public bid
opening will be held.

A pre-bid conference has been scheduled for February 11th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. The meeting will
be held at 193 Happy Canyon Road, Castle Rock, CO 80108 (CPMD’s existing Well A-4R site).
The pre-bid meeting is mandatory for all contractors who plan to submit bids on the Lower Dawson
Aquifer Well LDa-8, Lower Dawson Aquifer Well LDa-14, and Denver Aquifer Well De-14
Contract.

Work at the site is expected to commence by the Date to be specified in the Notice to Proceed.
Completion of the Work is required as specified in the Bid Form, and to be specified in the
Agreement and the Notice to Proceed.

Bid security in the amount of five (5) percent of the total bid Price must accompany the Bid in the
form specified in the Instructions to BIDDERS. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the OWNER
as liquidated damages should the successful BIDDER fail to enter into a contract with the OWNER
in accordance with the bid proposed as described in the bidding documents.

The BIDDER will be required to furnish a performance bond and a labor and materials payment
bond.

No bid may be withdrawn within a period of forty-five (45) days after the date fixed for Opening
Bids.
