NPSS1 2025000194 - Black Hills Energy Co. - Sole Source Notice

The Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) states herein its belief that only one source, Black Hills Energy Company, exists from which to obtain electrical connections to their transformers and provide a power source for the Electric Vehicle (EV) Charge station at our East Canon City Prion Complex. Black Hills Energy is the only source available to connect to their system for metered electrical usage. They are the only authorized installers that can assist CDOC with access to the underground power supply and must be completed by their specifically trained technicians.    

This Notice of Proposed Sole Source has been published to allow any prospective competitors or other interested parties to submit comments and/or an objection to the determination that Black Hills Energy company is the sole source from which to purchase this installation service for suppling power to our EV Charging Station. Any such comments or objections concerning the purchasing from this proposed sole source vendor, may be submitted through bidnetdirect.com//cdoc
