The Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) is seeking to partner with an Offeror to improving reentry outcomes for inmates transitioning to the community from the Denver Women’s Correctional Facility (DWCF) and the Denver Reception and Diagnostic Center (DRDC) by providing peer recovery coach support services for inmates currently participating in a therapeutic community (TC) and/or inmates that are currently receiving MAT services who are within ninety (90) day of release and/or within ninety (90) days of parole eligibility, or as determined by the Chief of Community Behavioral Health and the Substance Use Disorder Program Administrator. This project will provide re-entry resources, education, and support services to inmates in person or virtually as need to meet facility needs. Inmates will be provided with information on wellness planning, pro-social activities, one-on-one and group coaching, and resources to local community agencies and behavioral health providers. The primary goal is to improve the health, well-being, and equity of all Coloradans through substance abuse education, prevention, wellness planning, and connections to local community agencies, behavioral health providers and MAT providers.
