The Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) expresses its conviction that CoreCivic is the exclusive provider able to supply housing, food, clothing, and medical care for at least 3,000 inmates in a level III classification facility within the State of Colorado, contingent on approved funding and legislative process.

Facilities classified as level III require a secure perimeter, which includes features such as towers, walls, razor wire, perimeter patrols, and detection devices. CoreCivic  is recognized as the only full-service provider in Colorado capable of providing approved educational and clinical programs, as well as accommodate and securing a minimum of 3,000 inmates in a level III classification.

This Notice of Proposed Sole Source has been published to allow any prospective competitors or other interested parties to submit comments and/or object to the determination that CoreCivic is the Sole Source from which to purchase these services.
