ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Source Water Diversion Structures Improvements Project will be received by City of Central at the City Hall, 141 Nevada Street, PO Box 249 (use PO Box for mailing), Central City, Colorado, 80427, until 2:00 pm local time on Tuesday, May 22nd, 2018, at which time the Bids received will be privately opened and read. The Project consists of improvements to three existing source water diversion structures in remote locations west of Central City in Gilpin County.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis, with a lump sum price for mobilization/demobilization and each of the three locations as indicated on the Bid Form.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: W2 Engineers, LLC, 19255 West 84th Place, Arvada, Colorado, 80007; will.raatz@w2eng.com; 720.331.2332. Prospective Bidders may request electronic files of the Bidding Documents in portable document format (pdf) files from the Issuing Office beginning Tuesday, April 24th, 2018 through Tuesday, May 8th, 2018. Bidding Documents will not be issued outside of the dates stated above. Bidding Documents (hardcopies) also may be examined at City Hall, 141 Nevada Street, Central City, Colorado, 80427 on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. Hardcopies of Bidding Documents will not be available for purchase.
A pre-bid conference will be held at City Hall, 141 Nevada Street, Central City, Colorado, 80427, 1:00 pm local time on May 1st, 2018. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory. An optional site visit lead by the Owner will follow the pre-bid conference, and Bidder’s are encouraged to attend the site visit utilizing their own transportation.
Bid Security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and Bid Security Form.
