Summary of Specifications:
The City and County of Broomfield (City), State of Colorado, will accept Bids to award a Contract or Contracts for Midway Boulevard & Main Street Intersection Improvements. Copies of Contract Documents may be obtained for a non-refundable cost of $25.00 at the City and County of Broomfield Community Development Department, One DesCombes Drive, Broomfield, Colorado.
A mandatory prebid meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the Zang Spur Conference Room at One DesCombes Drive, Broomfield, Colorado. The purpose of the meeting will be to answer any questions about the Project or the Contract Documents.
Bids will be accepted at the Central Records Office at One DesCombes Drive, Broomfield, Colorado 80020, until 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2007. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Lobby Conference Room at the above address at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2007. All Bids shall be in SEALED ENVELOPES AND PLAINLY MARKED "Sealed Bid – Midway Boulevard & Main Street Intersection Improvements".
The Work is described in the Specifications and elsewhere in the Contract Documents. It includes, but is not limited to installation of concrete curb and gutter, concrete paving, asphalt paving, storm sewer and water line modifications, signs and striping, traffic signal modifications, traffic control, and landscape restoration.
