RFP-15-026 - Non-Potable Water Master Plan

Summary of Specifications:
The Non-potable Water Master Plan is an integral step in Broomfield’s comprehensive water resources planning efforts. By defining the extent of the non-potable system at build out, the irrigation demands on the potable water system can be reduced. Decreasing the potable water demand reduces the capacity and capital investment of the potable system infrastructure (i.e. treatment, storage, pumping, and distribution). The treatment, delivery, and storage of potable water potentially costs more than using a non-potable system for irrigation needs. The non-potable master plan will assist Broomfield in defining the potential expansion of the non-potable system, as well as establishing the capacities of the potable water system through build out.
