Summary of Specifications:
The City, in support of Denver RMC §54-241(a)(b), which prohibits the practice of “tow chasing”, is soliciting proposals for towing services requested by any owner or operator of a damaged/disabled vehicle or of property requiring removal or relocation but not impoundment. Others requesting this service on behalf of the owner may include the owner’s duly authorized agent or insurance carrier, an agent or representative of the Department of Public Safety of the City or any other City peace officer or firefighter attending the scene when towing services are required due to a traffic accident, fire, explosion or similar incident.
