CMO12-02 - Residential and Commercial Energy Efficiency Program

Summary of Specifications:
Sustain Arvada honors Arvada's rich heritage by preserving our resources to foster economic prosperity, environmental stewardship and community vitality today and into the future. One of the projects in the 2012-2013 work plan for Sustain Arvada is an energy efficiency retrofit program for the community. The focus will be on residential dwelling units with an emphasis on an identified older neighborhood in South East Arvada. In addition, Arvada has committed to participating in the Better Buildings Challenge with the Department of Energy which focuses on commercial buildings, so engaging commercial building owners and tenants is a priority. The City of Arvada is seeking proposals from non-profit or for profit entities that can design and implement an energy efficiency retrofit program for both residential and commercial properties.
