Description

The City of Arvada is looking to partner with a qualified Integration/SCADA firm to upgrade the existing Utilities Department SCADA systems terminal services, servers operating systems, programs/software, and hardware/equipment. The City would like to take this opportunity to increase resiliency through proper redundant/backup servers, modify network/server design where needed, data reporting, and connectivity for remote devices to ensure continued safe network security that meets or exceeds industry standards.
This SCADA upgrade/update does not include existing PLCs. The Upgrade/update will need to be performed in a side by side and/or test environment to ensure continued uninterrupted operation of the Utilities Departments two water treatment plants, pump stations and field sites.
The City is looking to maintain continued support option from selected Firm for the hardware/software systems after implementation for a minimum of 1 year with option to renew for 4 additional years.
Due to security reasons the City will not list the equipment or current layout/functionality of the existing system, but the Project Management Team will hold a site visit for interested Firms.The City is posting this RFQ initially and will select the top qualified Firm to move forward with the proposal, design and implementation. The City may request top qualifying firms to participate in a presentation.
