2020-096 - 4K Laser Projector and Media Server

The Production Department at the Wheeler Opera House is seeking to purchase a new and upgraded 4k Laser Projector. The Projector will be utilized for all films and projected media in the main theatre. As a venue, we want to be able to provide artist and clients with the utmost in quality. Therefore, upgrading to a more modern and superior projector will help us continue to meet that goal.
The Wheeler Opera House Production Department has determined that a 4k Laser projector is best suited for our needs.  With most new films being released in 4k and the lower maintenance and upkeep costs of a laser unit we feel these two qualities are of most importance. We would also like a media server from the same manufacturer as projector to be included. We would prefer only bids for Barco or Christie units due to the professional reputation of these companies.
Minimum Projector Package Requirements:

• 4K resolution
• Minimum 30K lumens
• Lens optimized for wheeler theatre screen
• Matching DCP server
• Installation
• Calibration by Digital Cinema Engineer
